Abstract:   (2009 Views)
Maintaining and protection of social stability is one of the preoccupations of social science thinkers and political rulers. The authority and legitimacy of the political system is the result of a stable society. It provides stability, security, paves the path of development and makes the society flourish. It seems that despite rapid scientific and technological advances, less developed countries are still struggling with instability; So one can ask what is a stable political system and what are the components and elements of its maintenance and continuity? Social science scientists have identified and proposed many conditions for the maintenance and continuation of stability, but it seems that the rule of law, fight against corruption, participatory and active political culture, and capable elites play a positive and supportive role in maintaining and continuing political stability. The result of this research shows that the more the law prevails in the society, the more serious the fight against corruption is, the more people's participation is widespread, and the country's elites are understanding and sympathetic, the people will experience a more stable political system. The above four components are discussed in this article.
