Historical experiences confirm the cultural and social transformation and change resulting from widespread migration. Meanwhile, Afghans have been present in Iran for more than four decades. It is natural that this widespread, millions-strong, and long-term presence will have profound and multi-layered consequences for the migrant community in various dimensions. One of the most prominent of these consequences is the change in the educational status of migrant women, which has not been independently analyzed so far. This article attempts to represent this issue with a descriptive-analytical approach and by using historical and documentary data; and that is in keeping with the hypothesis that "the mass and long-term migration of Afghans to Iran has promoted and increased the level of general and higher education of migrant women; although it has also caused some harm." Studies have led to the findings that immigration to Iran has led to an increase in general and higher education among immigrant women by changing traditional family attitudes, increasing trust in modern education, and expanding women's educational participation, etc., and has improved the literacy and education levels of immigrant women.
